DeFOREST Enterprises Industrial and Institutional Products

DeFOREST offers a variety of specialty surfactants for use in Industrial & Institutional formulations. These surfactants are briefly described below.

DeCONC I-100 is a high foaming 100% active concentrate which can be diluted up to 6:1 with water to formulate alkaline and neutral cleaners. May be used to formulate powdered products since it does not contain water.

DeCORE APCI-95, DeCORE BE-85, DeCORE IMT-100LF and DeTROPE CA-100 are water soluble corrosion inhibitors for use in a variety of applications. Our Corrosion Inhibitors web page contains additional information.

DeIONIC LF-EP Series, DeIONIC LF-60MOD and DeIONIC 100-VLF : Please refer to our Wetting Agents web page.

DeIONIC C-18 is a flaked alcohol ethoxylate. This high melting point (55C - 65C) surfactant has good acid and alkaline stability, and is recommended for use as a pigment and dye dispersant, emulsion stabilizer and in detergent blocks.

DeMOX CSG-30: A modified amine oxide for use in preparing clear, colorless peroxide and chlorine stable gels and viscous liquids.

DeMULS DLN-2314, DeMULS DLN-532CE and DeMULS DLN-622EG are excellent emulsifiers for D'Limonene and other solvents. Additional information is available on our D'Limonene Emulsifiers web page.

DeMULS KE-75: Emulsifier for kerosene and other solvents. This moderate to high foaming, nonphenolic surfactant is recommended for use in waterless hand cleaners, degreasers, solvent based paint strippers, etc.

DeMULS SGE-95: Emulsifier for soy, canola and rapeseed methyl esters in water. Easily forms clear and opaque emulsions.

DePHOS P-6LF-AS: Low foaming water soluble phosphate ester having exceptional alkali stability. May be used to hydrotrope nonionics in alkaline formulations without increasing foam.

DePHOS QSA-90: High foaming alkaline stable phosphate ester with good detergency and wetting. An economical product to replace higher priced phosphate esters used in alkaline cleaners.

DePHOTROPE CAS-MF and DePHOTROPE LFW-98 are low to moderate foaming surfactants for use as hydrotropes, wetting agents, detergents and lubricants in both acid and alkaline systems. These products are also featured on our Hydrotropes web page.

DeSULF DBS-TA-25: A unique, low cost sulfonate used in alkaline formulations to enhance emulsification properties. This product does not contain ethanolamines.

DeSULF GOS-P-60WCG: Nonionic capryl-glucoside that is high foaming and stable in 40-45% caustic and other alkaline and acid electrolytes. This product is very light in color and neutralized. It is listed in the CleanGredients^sm online database.

DeTERGE AN508-LF: A moderate foaming surfactant used in high alkali and acid systems. Stable in up to 30% active KOH.

DeTERGE AT-100: Suggested as a thickening and gelling agent in acid systems. Produces detergency, wetting and is an outstanding emulsifier. Used in viscous bowl cleaners, acid pickling, vertical surface detergents, acid corrosion inhibitors, emulsion cleaners and in down-hole oil field applications.

DeTERGE CS-45LF: A unique low foaming, chlorine stable surfactant for use in alkaline systems only. Stable in 15% active caustic and alkaline electrolytes. Promotes detergency, wetting and has excellent hard water stability. Not stable in acid systems.

DeTERIC CP-Na-38: A high foaming amphoteric with excellent alkali and acid stability. DeTERIC CP-Na-38 has improved performance, including outstanding wetting properties using 10% by weight less than similar competitive products. Readily biodegradable and is listed in the CleanGredients^sm online database.

DeTERIC CSP-50: For use in systems containing 50% active caustic soda and 45% active caustic potash. Produces a low, quick breaking foam, and provides detergency, wetting, and surface tension reduction. Maintains good color stability in strong caustic formulations. Also stable in mild acids including phosphoric. Is hard water stable and inherently biodegradable.

DeTERIC ODP-LF is a low foaming amphoteric with excellent stability in alkaline and acid systems. It is a very effective demulsifier of oils and greases from aqueous systems. For additional information, please see the Demulsifying Agents web page.
