DeFOREST Enterprises Metal Working Products

DeFOREST manufactures several surfactants which are recommended for use in metal working formulations. The following surfactants are suggested for use in metal working applications.

DePHOS HP-739: Oil soluble phosphate ester recommended for use in oil soluble metal working lubricants and water soluble (synthetic or semi-synthetic) cutting fluids. Has outstanding properties to reduce extreme pressure, surface tension and coefficient of friction. This product contains 13% phosphorus. Can be made water soluble when neutralized with amines (TEA, MEA, etc.) to a pH of 8-10. When neutralized, will also act as a corrosion inhibitor.

DePHOS P-6LF-AS: Low foaming, water soluble lubricant for use in synthetic cutting fluids and other water based lubricants. Used at pH range of 8-11.

DePHOS OP-75LF: A modified phosphate ester with lubricating and demulsifying properties. See our Demulsifying Agents web page for additional information on this product.

DeTERIC ODP-LF: An amphoteric surfactant that has the ability to readily demulsify tramp oils. Further details are available on our Demulsifying Agents web page.

DeCORE IMT-100LF, DeTROPE CA-100, DeCORE BE-85 and DeCORE APCI-95: Water soluble corrosion inhibitors for use in alkaline systems. Refer to our Corrosion Inhibitors web page.
